Dreaded UP gangster arrested from Malad

The Special Cell of the Delhi police along with the Mumbai Crime Branch, on Thursday, arrested a dreaded UP gangster from Malad.

Munna Bajrangi, who has several cases of extortion and murder, including that of an MP, against him across UP, had been staying at Malad for the past few months under a fake name – Prem Singh.

The Special Cell had received information that Bajrangi had rented a flat in Tank Lane near Orlem Church in Malad (West).

On Thursday, a Special Cell team from Delhi arrived and sought help from the Crime Branch to arrest Bajrangi.

The two teams raided Bajrangi’s residence at Valmi Vasahat building where he was residing with his wife and sister, around 4.30 pm, and arrested him. “The Special Cell team has already left for Delhi with Bajrangi,” a Crime Branch officer said. read more...
